Induction and Mentoring

The Chicago Teacher Education Pipeline supports ISU graduates who are currently teaching in Chicago Public Schools.  The program components include:

• Pairing each new ISU graduate hired in CPS with an in-building mentor for a period of two years.
• Providing mentors with high-quality, mentor training covering Mentoring 101, The Coaching Cycle, and Connecting Teacher Evaluations and Mentoring.
• Conducting Professional Development for beginning teachers and mentors.
